On-demand AML/CTF Training
Welcome to GOVLAW Training for Clubs and Pubs with gaming machines, available on your desktop, laptop or smartphone.
The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) requires all Pubs and Clubs with gaming (Electronic Gaming Machines — ‘EGMs’) known as ‘pokies’, to implement AML/CTF training for gaming management and staff. Training is also required for the key AML/CTF Governance roles: the Board or Committee, the Senior Manager(s) and the AML/CTF Compliance Officer.
The course has been designed for clients as a general overview to ‘getting started’ with the new GOVLAW AML/CTF Program toolkit for gaming venues. It also introduces the key AML/CTF Reform changes for Hotels, Clubs and Pubs from 31 March 2026.
